New Years Eve.
Usually its either getting crammed in between bodies @ the Opera House or getting smashed on the amazing view @ Rie's house. And occasionally its being beautiful and cool in Beijing... but this NYE was spent in a 5 star hotel in Siam Reap. That's a first for me, but they managed to do an ok job. Or maybe it just seemed good cos we were in Cambodia LOL...
People setting up for the Gala Dinner from my window:

My Cambodian 2 piece that I got from the markets for US$5!! LOVES IT!!

The fresh seafood guy who rows around the pool and you call him over when you want some crab and oysters. Great way to stop people from pigging out on the best stuff cos it takes forever for him to row over!

Our table was with a Madagascan lady and French husband and their kids - all beautiful and tall. Ahh... to be a product of Madagasca...

As you can see (below) we had no fancy shoes so we had to make do with our Havaianas:

Me with my multiple wines/champagne, etc:

The youngest of the Madagascans and she loved us! She kept dragging us off to play the games that were set up and talked animately in French the whole time, it was so cute!

Almost time for the countdown...

How come I dont look as good as him...?

Oopsie! Topsy turvy...!

I'm a children luvaaaaa:

OMG its the countdown. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Our NY kiss:

BTW this was ours last year when I still had hair:

Oh and they had mini fireworks at the hotel too. CUTE, but by the time we tried to get a picture of it, it was over HAHA.
CHEERS!!
LOL check out the table next to ours:

YAY!

Oopsie, must have fallen asleep from all the excitement.. I dont know when he took this :(

Everyone was still dancing in the congo line....

... but Froggie swept me up and carried me back to our room while everyone waved and shouted HAPPY NEW YEAR to the gorgeous honeymooners heehee.
Thats it for Kampuchea folks! Final stop - Sunway Resort in KL :)
