Undergraduate Relationships 1B

Lesson Two by Rebecca Wu

When your boyfriends in LA made you split the bill more than once, and you're really considering if you're still that into him, especially as he lives in a different country... heres what you do:

1) Dump him, change your status on Facebook and annouce to all your friends that you are single and available.
2) Still pick up his calls and listen to his moaning and crying but dont respond with anything other than "hmmm... i see... ahhh... ok i gotta go, bye".
3) Allow your Cupid friend Gracie to set you up with every single non-married male friend that Froggie has and decide that you dont like any of them, whilst still allowing all these pictures of you with them to be tagged on Facebook so your ex-boyfriend can see them.
4) Take delight in the fact that the ex is now moaning and crying even more, and has decided to take a trip all the way back to Taiwan to get you back. His leave excuse: "My parents are getting divorced". Nice.
5) Dont say thank you when he brings back a suitcase full of things for you, your friends and your family. Just take pictures and laugh about him at work.

Moral of today's lesson:

A good man is hard to find. A stupid man is easy to train.

Undergraduate Relationships 1A

Something very strange has happened to me...

Whilst giving relationship advice to all my friends (who, by some bizarre reason, have ALL decided to fall off the relationship rocker in one go)... I came to a rather shocking yet blissful realisation that...

I HAVE STARTED TALKING LIKE A WIFE.

Yes.

It's true.

I am no longer giving Gracie-style advice that goes something like: "What an asshole, he so doesn't deserve you. You can do so much better, just dump him PFFFFT" (although for one person - and you know who you are - that is certainly the case)

Noooooo.

But rather, I am puctuating my sentences with the words "commitment, sacrifice, forgiveness, patience"... love ...

I dont know if it's because I have turned into some soppy disgusting woman with the perfect life that everyone secretly despises - or if I have actually matured and am starting to act like the (almost) married woman that I am.

The truth is - nothing is ever perfect. It's about how you handle things and hiccups along the way, and your attitude towards things when they go wrong. Froggie isnt perfect... but he is perfect for me. And he thinks I'm perfect... (which I am).

I have learnt so much in this period of being engaged, especially now that we are facing some storms. Firstly, that it is really important to stick together no matter what. And secondly, that both parties have to always put the other person first in order have a successful bond.

I've also learnt that its a huge transistion between being a girlfriend and being a wife, and the latter is a lot of hard work. I've figured that it is essentially the transition from doing a lot of complaining and wanting and very little giving... to doing a lot of understanding and sacrificing, and very little questioning.

I guess I'm lucky because I also have very little to complain about. But maybe I do and I'm just not complaining...?

Who knows. I guess a 3 carat rock changes you? LOL - just kidding...

At the end of the day, here's Gracie's Lesson on Relationships 1A:

There is no such thing as a perfect man. Only the perfect woman who knows how to handle an imperfect man.

Thank you, thank you.

Brown Sugar Jazz Club

I have wanted to go to this jazz club for ages and every time its all full we get there. So we finally just booked a lounge section ahead of time so I could watch the fat black woman sing...

But she wasnt on that night! It was a sorta fat black man instead - a special guest... and he was really really good!

The wives plus Rebecca LOL:

The husbands plus the guy on the right who I tried to set up with Rebecca LOL:

A washed-out and very tired looking couple managed to make it through half the night, but we were the first to go cos we had to get up for church the next day! Getting old...

A couple of pussies who try to be men but are really chickkies with some dumb girly drinks LOL... what are these guys thinking?? One has a Tequila Sunrise and the other had some Pina Colada shit...

The REAL men. Niki with her bourbon on the rocks and me with my dry martini. WE KNOW WHO WEARS THE PANTS!!

Jason, Froggie's guy buddy, who I tried to set Rebeca up with..... hahaha

We had to make a minimum charge for the lounge, so we just kept ordering and ordering... this is one round out of like 3 or 4 rounds of food:

Redic! Why not blow it on alcohol YOU AMATEURS!!! Ugh...*dies*

Some stuff and some new nails

It's the anniversay sale for the department stores here, and all new season stuff is 10-20% off! Not a lot I know, but at least its all new stuff :)

Cynthia Rowley 2-set cardi with cute buttons:

Anna Sui cashmere jumper and stockings:

I love these stockings, look what it says. So sui!!

Faux leather jacket for the weather right now is perfect:

New oversized bag for all my shit:

And the best new discovery - a pearl store called Carol Lee:

So beautiful!!

And my absolute absolute FAVE.....

The Samantha ring!!!

Its the one Smith gave her in the SATC movie ... well, not quite but close enough. ME LOOOOOOOOOOOOVES!!!! All round approval please :)

Finally.... I took the plunge and got gel nails again. Everytime I do this I regret it afterwards when my nails are all thin and disgusting, but its such an adrenaline rush when you have them done that I stop myself from thinking about the consequences.

And I love my nail girl! She always stays back late or comes in early just to facilitate me. I got there at 10:30pm and she stayed til almost 1am for me :)

How cute are they??

*HEARTS* x a million!

I look like a wife

According to Froggie... I looked like a WIFE this morning when I left for work.

If being a wife means wearing a sloppy outfit with no makeup on, then he is seriously mistaken! But he really liked it and looked like he was turned on! OMG...

I told Betty at the office and she thinks that it is a sexual fetish - like in those Jap pornos where there's a wife and she's doing housework at home and then she gets screwed by the plumber or something. She said that guys always want something that's a fantasy, and since I fulfill the schoolgirl/sexy vixen/sluttarina/office lady fantasy for him everyday, the "wife" look really turns him on cos he's never had it before.

LOLOL!!! But I think if I'm really gonna be wife-like, I'd rather look like this one below:

YUMMMMMMMS!!!

Meanwhile, the poochies got some new outfits - ADIDOG!!

Our homie kids:

And homie dad:

Nothing else to report except that I finally got a case for the iPhone so it doesnt get completely mangled:

And some pics from Taiwan Storyland, the most boring place in the world. I only look like I'm having fun so that the pictures would turn out better:
Pretending to do housework. Umm... yea...
Raping a baby elephant:
And winning 4 toys from the arcade! WOOHOO Legend am I!
MMMMMMmmmmmmmm.... and going home to home cooked swordfish Froggie-style:
What a good frog!

Gimme more LOVE MOTEL

Well, it starts off as always... with me in front of the mirror (what's new):

... and dinner @ a special prawn place that serves huge prawns cooked in all these different ways.

Here's the rice wine praws. The soup there is 100% wine - no water at all - and it was BLOODY ALCOHOLIC OMG!!

These are the chef's special Pepper Prawns:

Oh ME YUMS! YUMMMMMS!!!

Then the night usually diverges into some random night market where I buy a million goodies:

THIS TIME - THE SUPER CHALLENGE! This is the exact same shop that the contestants in the Amazing Race Asia had to win a toy from. And believe me... it took a loooooooong time a a lot of MOOLAH:

But he did it! What a champ :)

OK now the gooooood bit. LOVE MOTEL PART 2!

This time, a much better and bigger one:

... with a very nice bathroom, jacuzzi, and steam room:

... but the most exciting thing was this - A SEX CHAIR surrounded by mirrors:

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! It was soooo COOLNESS like AWESOMENESS!!

There was even an instruction poster on the wall to show you all the different positions:

.... so we stayed the night. And got breakfast in bed :)

FUN!! But not enough food, so we decided to head to the BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD (after a love motel) to have second breakfast with our friends:

YUP! Its NY Bagel - the best bagels in the world! WOOHOO! EXCITEMENT REIGNS MOFOS!

Yes - that is Froggie next to me. And there is a reason he looks so tired. PUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

What is left to do before going home after leaving our pups alone for 24hrs (bad bad parents we are!).... to the supermarket to check out the halloween pumpkins!
And of course, my post-motel meal made lovingly by the Frogsta:

YES! YES! YES BABY...MORE....!
