We've been a bit slow with updating lately, so please forgive us! It's been a whirlwind month with Angela's wedding preparations and events keeping us super busy. Now it's all over, and we're taking a much deserved breather.

Hopeless with updating

OK.

If you're even still bothering to check back on this thing, you've probably noticed that I haven't blogged for yonks.

I JUST CANT MANAGE.

The trip to Sydney left me exhausted now I'm back with Xtine and LC. They are here til Sat, and then my in-laws come on the same day the girls leave, and stay for a week. I'm back at work and super busy, on deadline for the magazine, and Dress Me Pretty stuff hasn't been updated for a month because of Angela's wedding.

I've been updating facebook but blogging has been pushed onto the backburner. Which brings me to think that maybe I should stop blogging...??

How incredibly sad :(

I need to think about it... For now, I'll just keep updating sporadically whenever inspiration hits.

Meanwhile, SO JEAL of everyone in Sydney that went to the Lady Gaga concert last night!!! My sis is so cute. She wore this outfit to the show:

It's from this shop with all this designer stuff in Neutral Bay and I LOVE IT! The brand is called And Ode to Noone (I've never heard of it) but she's gonna get it for me so I'll have one soon. YIPPEE!!!!

Speaking of Gaga, I know I've gone on about the Telephone clip forever on fb, but here's one more great thing about her stuff  - check out this link to all the pop culture influences that feature in the video. No wonder I loved it, Tarantino's all over it!!!

Harro!

YAY! I'm back in Sydney but suuuuper exhausted. 2hrs sleep on the flight, loooong morning, and lots of stress about Ange's wedding and bridemaid dress... looooong story but it looks like altering is out of the question and so is me managing to lose enough weight - the dress doesn't zip up AT ALL!! It's completey stuck on my waist... omg. We managed to find ONE LAST option and ordered a size 14 from Queensland (the last left in Aust) and will have to make do with altering that. POOHEY! WHY ME SO FATTY!

Did I mention I'm still working and that this is a "paid" holiday? Boooo... so sleepy but still churning out documents atm... I have to have breakfast with my boss at 8AM tomorrow!!! UGH...

Oh, and I wonder what else is happening tomorrow...?

Ladies who Brunch, Lugo gorgefest, & Jazzzzzz....

There was once a girl who vowed she would go on an extreme diet in order to fit into her bridesmaids dress...

SHE LIED.

Let's see - in the space of 2 days this is what I have eaten:

Seafood brunch & dessert buffet @ Momo, The Courtyard Marriott:

Brunching with the Arirang ladies @ Tasting Room in Cheongdam-dong. The whole group of girlies here are newsreaders, weather chicks, pop program announcers and DJs on Arirang TV & Radio. No wonder they're such a good looking bunch!

Oh, and one of them is also a photographer - awesome pics huh! Except for my elephant thighs (far right)... ewws. 

 

And the winner is: NY restaurant Lugos comes to Seoul. And being media, we get first dibs on everything. And I mean... everything. I would probably throw up if it wasn't so goooooood ~~

But the surprising highlight came right at the end of the night. We were invited to a jazz concert and I had no expectations... it's always times like that when you are BLOWN AWAY!!! And I truly was. The singer looked like a retard, but he sang like a monster! Looooooved it.

By the way, I counted and just yesterday alone I had 34 different dishes and 6 standard drinks. I'm so UNREAL! The BEST dieter ever!!! High FIVE mofos!

Well, it's actually next week but I'll be gone by then so we celebrated tonight :)

I LOVE CHANNING TATUM

And that's NOT just because he was an absolute GOD in Dear John (fyi: I came out with a super blotchy face from all the crying), but because he is gorgeous and a great guy in real life who loves his wife :)

To be honest, it wasn't quite The Notebook and the ending does leaves you yearning a little, but Amanda Seyfried is just beautiful and the Channing eyecandy is SU-PERB!!!

Meanwhile, the costumes in Alice in Wonderland were also a lovely sight. Love what Colleen Atwood (Academy award winner for best costume designs in Chicago and Memoirs of a Geisha) did with Alice's various shades-of-blue costumes...

... and the White Queen, my goodness! Can I get one of those portable stairs that she uses to get up on her pearl-embellished horse? SUPER COOL :D 

Not a huge fan of Tim Burton's work, but Johnny Depp really makes everything worthwhile. And if you have an imagination and know the Jabberwocky poem off by heart like me, you'll love it.

Suddenly... strangely fat

THIS IS REALLY BAD.

I have hit 55kg. OMFG. I haven't been that weight since like... ever? Maybe on really bad days in Taiwan, but that's about it.

NOOOO!!!!

Any other time, I would probably just deal with it and ignore it until it goes away BUT I HAVE TO WEAR A SIZE 8 SEDUCE BRIDEMAIDS DRESS IN 3 WEEKS!!!

Noone believes me when I say that there is no way I can fit into a size 8 Seduce right now - they're all like, oooooh whatever - even the bride! But I tell you, its true its TRUE! I saw a pic of the dress and it's strapless and has a tiiiiiiny waist. Which means even if I can manage to squeeze my fat stomach into it, and if by some miracle the zipper does up at the back... I will still have those flabby underarm folds where the bust cuts in.

DIES DIES DIES!!!!

I know I eat too much...

...and people have told me to stop, but I've always eaten like this and I've never been this fat.

WHAT HAPPENED??

Have decided that I better get pregnant before I go back to Sydney, that way I have an excuse to be fat.

It's been a whirlwind week. I quit my old job and started my new job. I said goodbye to Ang who is going to the outback in Australia to be a governess:

Totally cool, huh.

We also bought a car FOR MOI!!! Yay my hubby is super nice - or maybe just super tired of hearing me complain about the subway and cab drivers...

... and I still love full cream hot chocolate & will continue to have it every night.

Is there a diet that allows milk and chocolate?? Will have to look into it. Right now I'm thinking maybe South Beach is the way to go.

Tattoos~~

I've been working on this tattoo article for quite some time, but I got held up for a few months and almost gave up... but finally I managed to get my shit together so it's back on now.

I have spoken with a few places, but this one I really like - mainly because they do a lot of freehand creative stuff and also because the main artist there is some real eye candy.

He was really attentive during the interview too, but a little quiet - too busy being cool I guess.

Anyway, I started talking about how I've always wanted a white tattoo and then they showed me some pics, and now I really wanna get one like this:

If I get it on my left wrist, I could just cover it up with my watch....? I dunno, the one on my arm has given me so much strife that I really dont know if I should go there again. Perhaps not... I just ordered some limited edition Chanel temporary tattoos from the States, so maybe I should just stick with those.

My freelance photographer, Alaric, loves taking candid shots and he took some for me when I was running up and down the street before the photoshoot - I didnt even notice he was doing it until he showed me later!

Yes, I know. I was wearing Juicy in the middle of the day on the street - WHAT A SIN. It may be fashion faux pas but hey, I was still sick and working. Trooper, I am.
