Happy End of HSC!!

My emo sister and Mei have both finally finished their damned HSC. Thank God, now she can start working on the music arrangement for Prinnie...

I took them to this place my mum discovered @ Meadowbank called Stone Bar for lunch. My cousin Evelyn who I've never really had good relations with (cos she was so mean to me before) is now trying to make amends, and me being the nice person that I am asked her to come along too...

Of course, it starts with food:

YUMS! I really enjoyed it and I ate heaps and heaps of fries, bread (we ordered more) and dessert. Now I'm like OMFG what about my diet :(

Meanwhile, have terrible news from Jay and in the middle of a mini-heart attack right now. She got called into jury duty on the week of the wedding, and she submitted all these requests saying she's a reader and a bridesmaids and NOONE CARES!!!! They said its not sufficient reason to be exempt!!! OMFG... We're so worried now, what to do??? Does anyone have any advice/experience they could share...?

Sadness, im crying...

Who says carbs make you fat??

I'm on a diet and I eat carbs at least 2x a day, it seems to be fine!  I love love love that I can get good sandwiches and wraps here... I have missed wholemeal bread, bagels, sourdough and focaccias soooo much.

I also love Jay cos she's the best and she bought me a duck baguette that was so delishhhhhhh!!

... and she came all the way out from work (not on her lunch break) just to see me cos she missed the brunch :)

... and I luv mummy cos she likes hanging out at Chatswood Chase and eating with me :D And she follows me around everywhere for my appointments. I even bought her a bikram yoga pass so she can go with me to classes this month heehee... she almost fainted in the first one, but she did better in the second one - only lied down every 3rd pose instead of every 2nd :P

... and finally I love my maid of honor cos she is the best makeup artist in the world:

Brunch @ bills Darlinghurst

Can you believe I've never been to bills for breakfast? So untrendy of me.

I have been too busy to take any pictures since I arrived, but I had to for this one. My first meeting with girlfriends, too special and important to dismiss on the blog!

I HATE JAY. She didnt make it to this one cos she was at the GOLD COAST. Who the hell goes on holidays when there's a girly brunch @ bills? Hmmph!

My sweet corn fritters, roast tomato, spinach and bacon:

Not bad, but everyone else's looked better so I ended up picking off their plates. GREAT MOVE. Theirs were better!!

Hazel's scrambled organic eggs with sourdough toast, mushrooms & cured ocean trout. Likes :)

Mel's ricotta hotcakes with fresh banana and honeycomb butter. OMG LOVES! This was so so good, definately the best of the bills classics:

Then we headed to Boon Chocolates where everyone decided it was a good idea to sit outside.

... but I was hotter than a toasted marshmallow! I thought I was gonna die... had to cover myself up with the scarf while I very reluctantly put chocolate in my mouth, pretending that I was still on a diet. And then proceeded to scoff down a chocolate mousse... I have no self control. SHAME. Whatever.

Mel was wearing super fluro Bonds underwear from work and she showed us all. Too bad we didnt get to see her punani, otherwise it would've been a really good day.

I went to inspect an apartment afterwards at St Leonards and I quite liked it. Loft-style, high ceilings, massive rooftop terrace. There are other things wrong with it, but I can live with it I guess. We are making an offer on Monday, we'll see if we get outbid by anyone else (which we probably will). Is that bad, just going for the first thing you see without looking at anything else? A little quick off the mark, perhaps? LOL... so Gracie & Steve style huh.

More band angst...

So Prinnie has dropped out for the band, but she is still doing the song at the church, thank god.

She has gotten me another girl to replace her, Roxy LeBrasse, ex-top 10 Idol.... but I'm really not sure about her at the moment.

Her voice is too squeaky!!



It's really too late to change now though, and at least if I go with Roxy she can still use Prinnie's band, which means everything stays the same except for the singer. Please someone tell me she's ok! I need some reassurance before I confirm. I'M SO SAD, WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP DROPPING OUT!!!
